Choosing a voice

Open Settings โ†’ Text-to-Speech.

  • Browser Voice: your computer’s own voices. Free, and works offline. On a Mac, the Premium and Enhanced voices (System Settings โ†’ Accessibility โ†’ Spoken Content) sound much better; download one there and it appears in the list.
  • AI Voice (experimental): natural-sounding OpenAI voices, using your own OpenAI key. The text being read is sent to OpenAI.
