Right-click, links, web addresses, files, and cleaning up messy text.

From a web page

  • Highlighted text: highlight it, right-click, and choose โšก Read it Fast.
  • A link: right-click it and choose ๐Ÿš€ Read Link Fast or ๐Ÿ“š Add Link to Library.
  • The whole page: right-click the page and choose ๐Ÿ“š Add Page to Library.
  • A document behind a link: turn on LiveLinks in Settings, then right-click a link to a PDF or document and choose ๐Ÿ“– Add Document to RapidReader.

In the reader

  • A web address: on Home, paste it and click Fetch.
  • A file: on Home, click Browse or drag the file in. PDF, EPUB, Word (DOCX), RTF, Markdown, plain text and HTML all work.
  • Any text: on Home, click Paste Text.

The first time RapidReader fetches a web page, your browser asks to allow it. See Why RapidReader asks to read websites.

Messy text

Open View Text. The free cleanup tools remove menus, ads and leftovers in one click. With AI set up, AI cleanup can tidy a badly formatted document.

When an import only got part of a page

Some sites block automated reading or need a login. Your library says why (blocked, no longer available, site error) and offers Re-fetch. Password-protected PDFs can’t be read; download the file and import it with Browse if it opens without a password.
